Is the app free?
Yes - downloading and using Addady is free at launch, and sending readings for your own home costs
nothing. Paid plans are coming later for landlords and businesses with lots of meters.
Which utility companies does it work with?
We're starting with the main electricity, water, and natural gas companies in Cairo and Giza, then
expanding to the rest of Egypt.
How accurate is reading from a photo?
The AI reads the digits - Arabic numerals included - and scores how confident it is. We compare every
reading with your meter's history, and anything odd goes to a human reviewer before it counts. You also
see the number yourself and confirm it before it's sent.
What if my photo gets rejected?
The app tells you right away if the photo is blurry, too dark, or the digits aren't visible - with tips
to get a better shot. Most people get it right on the second try.
Can someone else send readings for me?
Yes. You can hand any of your meters to a family member or the doorman from inside the app. They send
the readings, you see everything, and you can take the meter back whenever you want. Owners and tenants
each get their own access too.
My company has a lot of meters - does that work?
That's exactly what the business portal is for. Verify once with your commercial registration and tax
card, add meters in bulk across all your branches, and give each team member their own role. Write to us

I'm at a utility company - how do we get the readings?
Verified readings show up on a web dashboard the moment they pass our checks - with a review queue for
anything suspicious, analytics across your whole portfolio (holding companies see all their subsidiaries
in one place), Arabic PDF reports, and a full audit log. Email info@addady.app and we'll set up a pilot.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your National ID is stored encrypted the way banks do it, every account is identity-verified, the
app opens with your fingerprint, and every sensitive action is logged. Your photos go only to your own
utility company - we never sell your data.
